

Rev. Joshua Li was born in Shandong, China. After finishing his undergraduate study in 1992, he was recruited as faculty there. In 1996, he further pursued his graduate study in Shanghai. Two years later, he came to the USA and studied at Jackson State University, receiving his Master’s degree in Computer Science and his MBA. While he was studying in the US, he started to study Christianity. After experiencing God’s grace and saving power, he repented and accepted Jesus Christ. On Easter Sunday of 1999, he was baptized. After that, he began to serve in the church. In 2014, answering God’s calling, he resigned from his work as a database administrator and enrolled as a full-time student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Receiving his Master of Divinity degree in 2018, he started a church planting ministry and subsequently built a new church. Currently Rev. Joshua Li is the pastor of Dublin Baptist Chinese Church. He is married, and he and his wife have one daughter and one son.
